Reinforced Jacking Pipes

The non-invasive solution for laying precast concrete pipes

Concrete jacking pipes are used for the construction of sewers and pipelines, without disturbing the road system and the environment. This technique in fact allows to push the pipe directly without digging under a road, under a watercourse, under the tracks of a railway, even under a water table, with a controlled pushing system.

Our concrete pipes are designed and built with the most advanced materials, machinery and production processes.  Thanks to the partnerships developed by COPREM with the leaders in the sector, they are able to withstand all the pushing forces required for the microtunnelling technique with the characteristics of the soil and these design parameters:

  • concrete Rck=500kg/cm², with double steel rebar B450A
  • male and female gasket system complete with a painted steel sleeve incorporated in the casting S275JR and a rubber gasket for the seal = 3 bar mounted on the male gasket
  • lubrication valves, nails and handles for displacement and positioning able to withstand a nominal capacity calculated with a safety coefficient k 3, the elastomer gasket SBR with wedge-shaped section and the wooden thrust distribution ring
  • 3-m long pipes with a diametre of 80-250 cm
