Thanks to the many years of experience in the production of vibro-compressed concrete products internally lined with High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Liner, COPREM has been able to provide designers, institutions and companies with an integrated system of protection and sealing of the pipeline, which is also articulated in more economical solutions compared to the complete internal covering, and which can be well adapted to the different project requirements.
The sophisticated internal production process allows optimal assembly of the liner with the concrete directly in the casting during the production of the pipe, with the installation of the concrete protection even only in the upper or lower part of the element, to the advantage of the cost-effectiveness of the pipeline itself and its durability over time.
In the case of the Welded Joint® Pipe the lining system is integrated only on the joints, in order to ensure the perfect seal of the pipeline even under pressure without necessarily having to completely cover the inside of the pipe with the liner, to the advantage of the costs that are so completely comparable to those of a pipe with built-in gasket.
In this case, a strip of T-Grip HDPE liner is applied to each element during the production phase in the plant, perfectly integrated in the casting of suitable dimensions, near the male part and near the female part, thus allowing, after the assembly of the elements on site, the specialized personnel of Coprem Service to carry out the welding of the joint.
The experts in the sector who use COPREM's patented Welded Joint® Pipe instead of traditional pipes define it as "the most interesting innovation in technical and economic terms in recent times", precisely because it definitively and economically solves the problem of joint tightness in vibro-compressed concrete pipelines.
Our Technical Department is at the complete disposal of customers to discuss in detail any need for protection and tightness of the pipes, always guaranteeing the best cost/performance ratio.
